Adam Raga was absent from the Andorran Trial GP, one of the scenarios that the Tarragona rider is best at, as a result of a meniscus injury that occurred last March.
Throughout this time Raga has tried to stay competitive and not treat the injury, since due to the intensity of the calendar, it would have forced the rider to lose all options to fight for the top positions. However, a detachment of this meniscus has caused the forced withdrawal of Adam Raga, since with the aggravation of the injury he had lost mobility and it was impossible to compete in these conditions.
Finally, he underwent emergency surgery last Friday, June 16, for this torn meniscus in his left knee at the Dexeus University Institute by Dr. Joan Carles Monllau.
There are still no clear dates for the recovery, but everything points to him missing the CET in Pobladura de las Regueras and trying to appear in the Italian GP, which will be held from July 21 to 23.
