The Repsol Honda Trial Team will not change its rider line-up for 2023. The team has confirmed Toni Bou and Gabriel Marcelli as the two official riders in the new season that will start next year.
Toni Bou, with his 32 world titles, will have a new challenge ahead of him: that of improving himself and seeking, once again, the two crowns at stake. For his part, Gabriel Marcelli’s goal will be to get on the podium regularly in the top competition.
In 2022, Toni Bou won his 32nd consecutive world title (16 outdoor and 16 indoor), consolidating himself as the best motorsport athlete of all time.
As for Gabriel Marcelli, he has been the fifth classified in both disciplines of the world championship.
Takahisa Fujinami (Team Manager): “2022 has been a great season, but we’re going to try to make 2023 even better. The team has worked hard and very well throughout the year, not only in winter, because if there is one thing our team has, it is that we are constantly striving for perfection.
Toni has had a spectacular year, winning the two world titles, as we are used to, with very good races and leaving the title practically won before the last race in Italy because he has never made a result outside the podium. Gabriel, in his first year as a driver of the team, has improved a little over the previous seasons, but it is also true that he expected a little more. I am confident that next year he will already be one of the regular riders on the podium and will improve even more this season’s standings, both outdoors and indoors.”
