An exciting historic race where the great favourites of the time battled, such as Jordi Tarrés, Dougie Lampkin, Marc Colomer, Amós Bilbao, Tomy Ahvala, Bruno Camozzi, Steve Colley and Graham Jarvis.
In 1997 Marc Colomer participated with the first version of the Montesa Cota 315R and it was the year that Jordi Tarrés announced his retirement as a professional trial rider. In Lampkin’s case, he was in a great sporting moment at the controls of his Beta Techno.
