Jorge Casales wins in Cal Rosal
The GasGas rider took the lead during the first lap by passing the key areas of the race with greater success. With only five points on his card at the end of the first pass through the zones, Casales already had a comfortable advantage over his rivals, which he limited himself to managing during the second lap, achieving a solid victory.
A great result that, on the contrary, did not mathematically allow him to achieve the title of the category.
Raga Spanish Trial Champion 2020
The main protagonist of the day was Adam Raga.
He arrived as the leader with a ten-point margin over his main rival and was able to manage this difference perfectly. The morning started with difficulties for the TRS rider, who saw three sections in the first third of the lap complicated and took distance in front of the lead.
During the second lap he was able to overcome and completed a spectacular lap without penalty, allowing him to consolidate the podium and, consequently, the national title.
Third place in the race and also in the championship went to Jeroni Fajardo. Fourth Marcelli, who had a difficult time chasing the places of honor due to the distance of points.
Completing the “top 5” is Miquel Gelabert, who missed the double race in Pobladura de las Regueras due to his brand’s decision. Alongside him, completing a three-way tie, Arnau Farré and Pablo Suárez. Eighth was Jaime Busto, who only completed 50% of the calendar, followed by Moret, Trueba, Aniol Gelabert, Haga and the Peace brothers.
Other categories in Cal Rosal
In TR2, Pol Mediña beat the rest of the participants in the TR2 category and won, leaving behind Sergio Ribau and Alex Canales. In Junior Jordi Camp, Carlos Palma and Gaudí Vall were the best and in TR3 Francesc Recio, Gabriel Giró and Joaquín Salcedo.
Jordi Sanjuan had a good trial and took the victory ahead of Ricard Alcaraz and Joan Ricard in TR4.
Beautiful fights between the youngsters
Manuel Caturla was the protagonist rider of Cadete 125cc. Hugo Barrera and Nil Riera had to settle for second and third, respectively. In the Cadet Sup.125cc Marc Freixa put in a good performance and climbed to the top step of the podium. Jorge Iglesias finished second and Marc Piquer third.
Xurxo Neo made the difference in Juvenil A and only penalized with 7 points while Alex Mediña, who qualified second, did so with 22. Closer to him was Miquel Alarcón in third position. Everything was a little tighter in Juvenil B with Ramón Godino, Ángel Llopis and Fernando Solorzano who were first, second and third, respectively, with 5, 10 and 14 points.
Abellán, Pi and Afonso, the best in the Women’s category
Women’s TR1 competed on Sunday while Women’s TR2 and Women’s TR3 competed on Saturday. In the top flight, Berta Abellán has won the title with a total of 82 points on her card in Cal Rosal. Laia Pi, Idoia Pey and Eva Muñoz were in the boxes of honour in TR2 and Mariana Afonso, Lucía Gómez and Alexia Lladó in the TR3.
Finally, in Veteran, Santi Serra and Joan Solé fought a nice battle for the victory, something that the TRRS rider achieved. Eduardo Álvarez closed the top three.
