Vertigo bets on Hugo Dufrese

The upcoming season looks exciting for the Vertigo team. Once the continuities of Jaime Busto, Berta Abellán, Lorenzo Gandola and Pau Martínez have been closed, and the subsequent additions of Miquel and Aniol Gelabert, Vertigo Factory and Vertigo Francia are proud to present the young and very promising Hugo Dufrese.

The French rider, 7 times French Champion, European Champion in 2017, and 5th in the 2018 Trial125 World Championship with a podium, 2nd in Japan, is considered one of the greatest emerging talents today. In 2019 a cruciate ligament injury has prevented him from shining in competition, but since September he has been training on the bike again in order to return even stronger and more prepared than when he was injured in February.
Dufrese’s determination to reach the elite of trial is enormous and at 16 years of age, he shows a professionalism and maturity typical of great champions. This next year we will see him compete in the Trial2 World Championship and in the top category of the French National, as well as events considered a priority by Vertigo. Hugo Dufrese will be part of the factory team, as well as receiving support from Vertigo France.
Hugo Dufrese:

“After a difficult year for me, I was lucky enough to be able to join the Vertigo team. I want to thank Manel Jané, Dani del Valle and Julien Panabiere for giving me this great opportunity, I’m going to do my best to meet expectations.”
