The Galician rider of the Montesa team is becoming one of the revelation riders of this season in the Trial2 category. In the last four races he has shaved 11 points off current championship leader Matteo Grattarola and is just three points behind with two races remaining in the season.
Marcelli did it again in Portugal, close to home. He achieved a narrow victory over Alex Ferrer and Gandola in a very tight race, where Grattarola could not overcome seventh position.
