2021 Japanese Trial GP cancelled

The promoter of the Trial World Championship has announced the definitive suspension of the 2021 Japanese GP with just three months to go, due to the uncertainty posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Japanese GP had been held uninterruptedly since 2000 in the vicinity of the Twin Ring Motegi speed circuit, owned by Honda. In the last edition of 2020, the cancellation of the Grand Prix in Japan was also announced.

Both the Japan Motorcycling Federation and the organizer, Mobilityland, hope to be able to hold the 2022 edition normally.
