The best riders in the world have met for the first time in 2017 during the Sheffield Indoor Trial, although this time outside the official calendar of the 2017 X-Trial World Championship.
The line-up of participants was made up of Toni Bou, Adam Raga, Jeroni Fajardo, James Dabill, Miquel Gelabert and Jack Price. For James Dabill, it was his first performance at the controls of a Gas Gas after his departure from Vertigo.
In the qualifying round, the main protagonist was Adam Raga (5 points), who was in first position ahead of Toni Bou (6 points), followed by Jaime Busto (10 points) and James Dabill (13 points). All of them made it to the final round. Jeroni Fajardo (15 points), Miquel Gelabert (16 points) and Jack Price (27 points) were left out.
The excitement was served in a final where Toni Bou dominated, claiming victory against a competitive Adam Raga who was making his debut at the controls of the new
TRS One Raga Racing
, while James Dabill achieved his first podium with Gas Gas. Fourth place went to Jaime Busto.

starts on February 5 at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona.
