Toby Martyn joins Jitsie and Vertigo team

Toby Martyn has joined the ranks of Vertigo and in parallel with those of Jitsie, where he will have the new Jitsie Data

equipment line. The 16-year-old, who will ride a
2017 250cc Vertigo Combat
, caused a sensation on his world championship debut by finishing seventh in the TR2 category at the Belgian GP.




The age limitation in the trial world championship meant that Martyn only participated in the last three races, but enough to get into the top 15 at the end of the championship and automatically qualify as a pre-selected rider for the championship. FIM Trial2 World Championship in 2017, in a season when this category is limited to 250cc.


The figure of Martyn takes on a special relevance for the approach to the
2017 Trial World Championship
, since for the manufacturers’ championship two riders will score, one in the TrialGP category, which in this case will be Jeroni Fajardo, and another in the Trial2 category. In this way, the Fajardo-Martyn tandem will try to improve the absolute ranking of brands for Vertigo in 2017.
In addition to the Trial2 World Championship, Toby Martyn will participate in the European Trial Championship and the British Trial Championship with the support of Vertigo UK.
