This was the start of the National Trial in La Nucía

The 2016 Spanish Championship kicked off today in a very trial-like environment that has already hosted a valid event for the National in the 2006 (2), 2007, 2008, 2011, 2013 and 2015 seasons, La Nucía. This town in Alicante received with good weather the more than 90 participants who gathered in all the categories, except for the TR1, for which it was not counted.
Those in charge of bringing this first challenge of 2016 to a successful conclusion have been the Motorcycling Federation of the Valencian Community and the MC Team Off Road La Nucía, who have once again prepared a route of 15 zones, three of them of an indoor nature – although each category only faced ten of them – and to overcome in two laps and with a maximum time of five hours very similar to that seen a year ago. year. That is, areas of dry earth and dust, with the odd root to be avoided, and the occasional section with loose stone among pine trees. All of them are very easily accessible to the public and in the vicinity of the Ciutat Esportiva Camilo Cano de la Nucía, where the paddock was located; as in 2015. By the way, the race, as it happened last season, has also been scoring for the regional championship of the Valencian Community of the specialty.
