Welcome to the new Trialworld

Dear friends, first of all I want to thank you for coming up with this post. It means that we have a common passion: Trial. An exciting, social and humble sport. Three great adjectives where humility in the good sense of the word should be highlighted, although sometimes, in certain tasks, bordering on precariousness.
Why was Trialworld born? In 2011, after almost a decade testing trial bikes for specialized magazines, I realized two things: that it was starting to be incompatible with my job and that something didn’t quite fit me. The online magazines were limited to reproducing press releases of random relevance for the trial enthusiast and, at the same time, the “paper” had and still has two big problems: first, immediacy, and second, that someone who only likes trial is not usual does not like to pay for a magazine where out of a hundred pages there are only four trial pages.
And with the philosophy of filling this gap we have worked during these exciting almost five years. Always prioritizing what is relevant for the fan, such as tests of the new models, research reports, mechanics and set-up tips, competition, videos and the news that we thought were relevant.

While this was happening, two great things have happened:
1) We have become the world’s leading trial community. We already have 30,000 trial friends on Facebook, more than 4,000 on Twitter and in a short time we have surpassed 1,300 followers on Instagram.
This allows us to tell you all the news, comment on them and discuss the current situation of the Trial. It has also served to evangelize the values of our sport and, surely, along the way some trialists who hung up their boots have returned to the zones.
2) We have created the leading permanent Trial School at a national level and one of the most relevant at an international level. With an audience between 4 and 70 years old, every month we bring together more than 50 participants to offer them days of trial courses that have become great coexistences, a link between those who are not fortunate enough to have a group to train with and thanks to our rental motorcycles we have given the opportunity to get to know trial to new fans. Along the way we have also opted for children and during this time a pilot nursery has been formed that is allowing a real generational change in the center of the peninsula, where we have our main activity.
With all this, Trialworld School will close the year 2015 with more than 400 course places consumed and the pride of contributing to create true fans.

NEW ERA TRIALWORLD

A few months ago we launched the new website of Trialworld School -www.cursosdetrial.com- and in our mind was to rebuild the online magazine.
Why? First of all, it was necessary to adapt the information to all devices, so that the reader’s experience would be just as extraordinary regardless of whether they visit us from a mobile, tablet or computer.
We also wanted to change the content classification and include new categories, such as mechanics or equipment, in order to help you with these tasks as well.
On the other hand, we want to turn Trialworld into a great encyclopedia of Trial, so you can find information on all the trial brands and the evolution of their models, so that you can know for sure the differences between each range and know the impressions of our test riders.
We still keep the good stuff. Now you have a more orderly and user-friendly classification of videos, a more effective content search engine, our opinion experts writing on the blog and of course all the latest news about trial and competition.
We have put a lot of love into this new stage. It is not easy to reinvent yourself in a sector where we work with passion, with practically no resources and support. Your faithfulness is enough for us.
And of course, everything you see is fully open. There is not, and will be, no paid content at Trialworld.
Enjoy it, folks!
A hug,
David Quer
