officially announces the launch of TRS Motorcycles, a new brand of Trial motorcycles manufactured under his guidelines with the aim of officially presenting it at the end of 2014.
The latest news from TRS confirms that the new model is expected to be in production in April 2015, so the 2015 TRS could be in stores before the middle of next year.
Trialworld has already announced Plans TRS to his readers a few months ago in a report where he also commented on the launch of another new brand, Vertigo, which has just been presented at the Milan Motor Show -November 4th- and which has Tarrés’ eternal rival at the forefront of development during his time as a driver, Dougie Lampkin.
TRS IS BORN, A TRIAL BIKE DEVELOPED BY JORDI TARRÉS
TRS Motorcycles, whose main activity will consist of the design, manufacture and marketing worldwide of trial bikes under the TRS, has developed a business plan that foresees in a first phase three years from now, a turnover of EUR 6,000,000 and a staff of fifteen people, and in a second phase over six years, Complete the range with new motorcycle models, always within the generic “off-road” segment.
TRS was born out of the initiative and promoted by its four partners, Jordi Tarrés, former seven-time world champion trial rider and creator of the Jotagas model, Ricardo Novel, a businessman from Barcelona who currently has a stake in seven companies, whose activity revolves around logistics, spare parts and other industrial processes, always in relation to the automotive world, and which he sees in TRS the possibility of continuing to build a solid and innovative industrial fabric, Marc Arañó, with solid experience in the two-wheeled sector in companies such as Derbi (Piaggio Group), Gas Gas Motos and Jotagas in which he has led relevant projects of an international nature and Josep Borrell, He is a businessman from Barcelona who manages different investment funds and whose passion for motorcycles has led him to invest personally in recent years in companies in the sector such as Gas Gas and JTG.
TRS was established in 2013 and is scheduled to start production of its first model in three displacements (250, 280 and 300 cc) at the end of 2014 and the development of new displacements during 2015.
TRS will have its production facilities in the province of Barcelona from where the R+D + I departments will also be managed, while at the sports level it foresees a progressive participation that will be linked to the consolidation of the business.

TRS AT THE MILAN MOTOR SHOW
The TRS Motorcycles team, including Tarrés himself, is present at the EICMA Milan Motorcycle Show to explain the project of the new Trial bike. It is expected that around the month of February – March we will be able to see the TRS live for the first time and then it will go to the production lines.

On July 31st, the new TRS One was presented worldwide after a long process of design and development of the bike, which at all times has been captained by Jordi Tarrés.
