In Salt, the headquarters of the Girona-based brand, Ramon Puente -general manager of Gas Gas-, Santi Navarro -team manager of the trial team- and Adam Raga himself have sealed the agreement by which the rider from Ulldecona, ambassador of the brand in the world of trial, extends his contract for three more years to remain part of the Gas Gas family.
After seventeen seasons in the elite of the world championship with Gas Gas, Adam Raga -32 years old- has a long list of 46 victories in the world championship with the signature of Salt, the reference brand in the world of trial.
Adam Raga (Gas Gas Pilot): “I am very happy with this renewal, I think that during these seventeen seasons that we have been together we have done a great job. It was important for both parties as we have a great history. A lot of success has been achieved and we remain competitive. We won the first title in 2000, the junior world championship, and a year later came our first victory in a world championship race. Then came the World Championships, from 2003 until now we have won six world titles and we have always had options to fight for victory. This is a good trajectory for both parties and I’m very happy to be here. Bearing in mind that this is my seventeenth season with the team and that Gas Gas has celebrated its thirtieth anniversary this year, that means that I have been in the life history of Gas Gas as a brand for more than half of the years and that, when I finish my contract, it will already be twenty years in this team. which satisfies me a lot.”
