2014 Spanish Classic Trial Cup kicks off this coming weekend, February 22nd and 23rd. The city chosen to start the year has been Tarragona and, as happened in 2013, the tests will be held over two days, in order to continue reducing costs and bringing the competition closer to all the riders.
As we mentioned in January, the RFME Spanish Cup of Classic Trials has undergone some modifications in its regulations, highlighting the coefficients. These will be the ones that will determine the final classification of each event. Depending on the age of the motorcycle, you will have one, rewarding the oldest and most original.

The years of manufacture of the machines will generate correction coefficients in the chosen category: 0.70 for motorcycles from 1950 to 1967; 0.80 from 1968 to 1974; 0.90 from 1975 to 1980; 1’00 from 1981 to 1986 and 1’10 for Open or motorcycles without a Historical Record.
The Tarragona race will consist of 10 zones and all those registered will have to do two laps. Registration is still open until tomorrow, Thursday 20 at 11:59 p.m.
The paddock and the secretariat will be located in the picnic area of the Shrine of Our Lady of Loreto. The Motoclub Tarragona has been in charge of the organization of the race and has full confidence that everything will be perfect.
On Saturday, from 08:00h, the administrative and technical verifications will be passed and at 09:30h the first participant will leave. Around 3:00 p.m. the trophy ceremony will be held. On Sunday the start will be at 09:00 and the podium also at 15:00.
