There is strength in numbers

2102No one doubts that all off-road motorcycle enthusiasts are faced with a truly complicated panorama. In addition to the serious economic situation, which obviously has an impact on the dynamism of the market, we continue to have difficulties accessing the countryside and enjoying our favourite sport. Luckily, we have a big oxygen pump with the proliferation of legalized areas and the good sense that we all try to put in place when we go out into the field.

With such a panorama, the most normal thing would be for the sector to remain expectant and cautious, without taking great risks until the outcome or direction of the situation is known. Far from this premise, we have had a great year where the most important news at a technical level in the last five years have been revealed.

First with the media staging of OSSA, as a pioneer within the sector in using an injection feed to its 2T mechanics and repositioning multiple thermodynamic elements. Then, last week without going any further, after learning about the JTG project through the company JOTAGAS. We are talking about an ambitious and exclusive project, far from the nerve centre of the big factories, but very close to a large test bench such as Motorland. The best endorsement of this trial project (there will also be an Enduro) is the
reading of the acronym JT: Jordi Tarrés
. This means that the most successful rider of all time, who made our sport world famous and attracted great sponsors, puts his stamp on a project that will be available in just two months and promises to be very exclusive.

On the other hand, linking to the report on Young Promises that we did a few weeks ago, we have taken the controls of the star versions of the eighth-litre: Sherco and Gas Gas. Either of these two versions represents a magnificent alternative to start or evolve technically in the Trial. It has been proven that all drivers who start in the specialty with a 125 version learn the basic techniques better and perform better when they make the leap to the “big” engine. We hope you enjoy this comparison.

Likewise, we remind you again that we have activated the ” Classic trial in first person” section, where you can participate by sending your photos and personal chronicles, talking about what you like the most.

Greetings and Happy Week
