Adam Raga has undergone successful surgery on the meniscus in his right knee and it is still doubtful whether he will be able to play in the competitions in March.
Raga’s spectacular start to the 2020 season, with five second places in the X-Trial World Championship and another second place in the National Trial Championship, has one more point of heroism. The TRS rider tore his meniscus in mid-January, causing pain and fluid in his knee. Due to the short time between races, Adam has decided to wait until this week to go under the knife, having been operated on by Dr. Xavier Mir and Dr. Jordi Tapiolas.
The rider’s expectation would be to be ready to compete in the Spanish Trial Championship in Baiona (March 14 and 15), a race that will lead the following week to the X-Trial in Austria (March 21).
From Trialworld we wish Adam a speedy recovery!
