Adam Raga rules at Honda’s home | Japanese Trial GP Day 1

The Trial World Championship arrives in Japan, specifically in the vicinity of the Twin Ring Motegi circuit, owned by Honda. The second Grand Prix of the year will be held there this weekend, which will be resolved in a double day of competition.

Adam Raga has been the main protagonist during the first day of competition, achieving a resounding victory that allows him to place himself as provisional leader after three races disputed. He was joined on the podium by Toni Bou and Takahisa Fujinami who celebrates his 300th Grand Prix in front of his home crowd.

Adam Raga’s victory is also the first individual victory for the new TRS brand in an event of the Outdoor World Championship.

2016 Japan Trial GP podium

A very remarkable point in this Grand Prix is the participation in the top category, which amounts to 27 drivers as a result of the large influx of local riders, such as Kuroyama, Nozaki, the Ogawa brothers, Shibata, Nomoto, Kira, Saito and Sunada.
