Arnau Farre was injured at the
last XTrial in Barcelona
, when a heavy fall at the controls of his Vertigo Combat caused a hasty retirement.
After a few days of waiting and with the results of the MRI, Arnau Farre’s knee injury has been confirmed. The Vertigo rider has a torn anterior cruciate ligament with meniscus involvement.
Within the severity, this injury could have been worse if it had affected the medial ligament, but thankfully he’s fine. On March 20, Arnau will undergo surgery and from there A recovery time of approximately six months is estimated, so he could get back on the bike to face the final stretch of the TrialGP World Championship and the National Trial Championship.
Lots of encouragement from the entire Trialworld team
