The new flagship model of the clover brand is already a reality, as you can see in the in-depth test we have carried out at TRIALWORLD. Despite the fact that the pace of the Girona factory has not yet reached its maximum performance, the first units of OSSA’s new trial bike, the TR 280i, are already being mass-produced. About 20 bikes leave the factory ready every day. Of these, most are distributed to importers, mainly in Europe. In Spain, between 10 and 15% of the first motorcycles that OSSA is producing are staying.
The forecast is to reach 75% of production in January to end up distributing a total of 1,250 units before spring. All of these bikes are already sold to European customers and also to customers in Australia, Japan, Canada and New Zealand. About 250 units of this first series will be sold in Spain, Portugal and Andorra. In a second phase, a new edition of 2,500 more units will be made during 2011.
