In an almost improvised way, Cabestany got behind the controls of a Gas Gas TXE to put on a Trial World Championship bib again, this time in the category reserved for electric motorcycles.
The feat of the Dutch GP was not easy, as he had in front of him a Kuroyama with more hours of flight time at the controls of his Yamaha TYE. Cabestany did not fail and completed the two laps of the course without penalty, despite the pressure exerted by the Japanese driver. Third place on the podium went to Italian rider Gianluca Tournour, also with Gas Gas.

“The result speaks for itself. I had an exceptional and very solid race. We suffered because Kuroyama was pushing without making any major mistakes, and until the last moment I had the pressure to make a small mistake that would relegate me to second position, but in the end everything worked out. The bike worked like a movie, I felt very good with it. I’m getting to know it little by little and enjoying it more and more every day. I want to thank the whole team because they have welcomed me with great enthusiasm. I hope to continue this line in Belgium.”
