We are used to seeing freestyle competitions on properly prepared dirt bikes , on which the riders perform great stunts and take on challenges that are a priori impossible. Many Trial fans know the Frenchman Julien Dupont, who usually practices this specialty on a Trial Gas Gas, something that adds a plus of spectacularity and exclusivity to his events.
The latest feat of the French rider has been to travel to the English city of Newcastle to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Millennium Bridge, crossing it on a Trial bike.
To execute this spectacular crossing, Dupont waited until the bridge was at its maximum inclination and, with the help of a ramp, launched himself to the bridge in a spectacular way through the pedestrian area.
It is well observed how Dupont withstands the skidding of the rear end due to the incline, but ends up complicating the situation reaching the highest point. The large audience had a great time and also had the opportunity to see a Trial bike in action, despite the fact that it is not in the most ideal context for our specialty.
Congratulations Julien!
