, Electric Motion has once again given a boost to an EPure range that was born in 2020, completely breaking with its predecessor. As inspiration for the 2021 range we have to look at the work done in the Electric Motion Comp 2020, a limited edition that already incorporated interesting improvements at the level of parameters in the power maps, increasing its performance in the medium and high rev range, in an engine that had also been given more inertia mass.
The 2021 range includes these improvements from the Comp, to which are added new mechanical clutch settings (Race model), which is also configurable directly on the engine in three positions. Completing the mechanical part, the transmission ratio also varies, with the chainring now being 57 teeth.
As for the cycle part, there are also important changes. In this edition, the M4 air fork is dispensed with and a Tech fork with aluminum bars is opted for, putting the bet on a par with the rest of the explosion competitors. At the rear, the R16V shock absorber remains. Only the Lite version is equipped with a steel Tech fork.
Finally, we see aesthetic changes in its graphics and lightened Morad wheels.
DIFFERENT VERSIONS ELECTRIC MOTION EPURE 2021
Within the EPure range we basically have four finishes, and three of them correspond to the aforementioned 2021 range. The fourth, corresponding to Comp, has recently been presented.
Electric Motion EPure Lite
. It is the base model, with a steel fork and no clutch. It shares the same mechanics, battery and controller as the rest of the range.
Electric Motion EPure Sport
. It is equipped with an aluminium fork and progressive electronic clutch, with the possibility of converting it into regenerative braking.
Electric Motion EPure Race
. It’s the top of the range. Tech aluminum fork and the big difference of equipping mechanical clutch (oil) with the same operation of any combustion engine clutch.
