Electric Motion wants to take advantage of the media and technological momentum that surrounds electric trial bikes, an increasingly popular and demanding specialty where big brands such as Yamaha are already involved.
The celebration of a World Championships specific for electric trial motorcycles, called TrialE, together with the growing demand for solutions for the regularization of access to the mountains with off-road motorcycles, is leaving a very relevant path for electric motorcycles, which also have a wide technological path to excite the sector.

was one of the pioneering brands in the development
of electric trial bikes for adults
, but the growing competition forced a strong boost to the project. With this premise, the 2019 Electric Motion range was born, consisting of four trial models; two more sporty and two with a more versatile orientation.

Most of the mechanical innovations are common in all four models, with nuances in performance and technical characteristics that we explain below.
The bulk of its engine changes have focused on obtaining greater torque and rev range, but reducing the noise. In this process, more power has also been sought, going from 487 Nm to 500 Nm in the Sport model and from 337 Nm to 350 Nm in the Scape Sport model.
The changes to the engine allow it to reach a higher top speed than its predecessor, reaching up to 60 km/h in the Sport model and 75 km/h in the Scape Sport. All this, without prejudice to the autonomy, which is still approximately 100 minutes.
In terms of geometries, the engine receives a new position on the frame in search of a lower center of gravity.
Also incorporated is a new power control, smaller, lighter, with a better feel and with the ability to work with three power maps instead of two.
Another crucial point in a trial bike with these pretensions is the behavior of the clutch. Electric Motion presents the new PELS (Progressive Electronic Lever Switch) system to modulate power delivery from the left lever, acting as a clutch.
Electric Motion also features the PRB (Progressive Regenerative Brake) system, a brake energy recovery mechanism located on the front brake lever. It is responsible for transforming kinetic energy into electricity that is charged in the battery itself.
The transmission is also newly manufactured, now lighter and quieter, made with mechanical and anodized parts.
