WHAT IS FANTOM MOTORCYCLES?
The idea was born from the objective of offering the market an economical trial bike, without sacrificing reliability. It is an ideal formula to promote trial in emerging markets, where it is difficult to penetrate with high-cost models without there being a grassroots fan base to promote this sport.
To do this, they have chosen a 4-stroke engine with a five-speed gearbox, electric start and 190cc. Very popular in the market for decades. It is an engine similar to the one that has been fitted to pit bikes or other motorcycles such as the Honda Cub (in this case 90cc).
Before obtaining the patent for the first horizontal engine on a trial bike, Eric and Albert validated their idea on a prototype with very satisfactory results.
The weight of the bike is 72 kilos and it will not be homologated. The Showa fork and Nissin master cylinder are part of the prototype only. It is planned that there will be two versions of the bike, a standard trial bike priced at €2,795 and a “long ride” one called Nómada priced at €2,995
