Gas Gas Raga 2011, a reality

We were moving it forward at the end of April, introducing our readers to what would be the TXT Raga 2011. It’s already a reality; The Gas Gas model has been added this week to the brand’s catalog after its debut last Sunday in the first grand prix of the trial World Championship season. This new replica includes the latest advances incorporated by the official bike used by our champion Àdam Raga and occupies the highest step of the entire TXT range.

The new TXT Raga 2011 stands out for its radical aesthetic renovation compared to the 2010 version. Thus, the frame replaces the gold finish with a black one, while the black plastic with gold finishes introduced last year is replaced by a new one with white as the predominant color. Among these new elements, the aggressive design of the new front mask is striking, with which it seeks to reinforce the competitive character of the model.

Despite the new look, the most important innovation of the 2011 TXT Raga is the new multi-adjustable Reiger shock. This exclusive element that the prestigious Dutch firm Reiger Racing Suspension has made especially for Gas Gas allows something as new in trial as regulating the operation of the rear suspension in rebound, compression and preload; while its 666 grams achieve a notable weight reduction compared to other similar components on the market. The model is offered in the usual three displacements (250, 280 and 300 cc) and also incorporates all the cycle and thermodynamic adjustments introduced by Àdam over the last season in its official machine.
