Hebo Technical 2.0 micro boots

Among the novelties of the Hebo 2019 catalogue we find an almost total renewal of its range of trial boots, including, in addition to a new line, the Hebo Technical 2.0 Micro.

The arrival of this
Hebo
model means the compromise between a boot with a design very much in line with current trends, with interesting technical solutions and a very accessible price.
An important fact is that the Hebo
Technical 2.0 Micro
boots are made of microfiber, a material similar to that of its
sisters, the Hebo Tech Comp boots with the BOA closure
. They have a “water resistant” inner membrane that prevents water from entering the boot.
On an aesthetic level, you can see interesting changes. On the one hand, the closures are two-strap (now with aluminum hooks) and on the upper part with a large Velcro that completes the adjustment of the boot.

These trial boots have reinforcements both in the heel area, as well as great protection in the shin. It is also interesting to note that these boots incorporate the asymmetrical sole of the Tech Comp, as well as the protection reinforcements in the support area over the footpegs and the brake pedal.
The weight of the pair is 2,200 grams, an optimal figure for a medium-high range boot with very competitive performance. Finally, as you can see in the photos, they are available in three colour combinations and in sizes between 38 and 48. The official RRP of these boots is €211.6 and they are available in the online trial store of Trialworld Store.

REVIEW HEBO TECHNICAL MICRO 2.0 BOOTS

Several Trialworld instructors have been using these boots since last August ’18 and the impressions are very positive. In addition to the comfort and good feel, I highlight the good fit of the boot. The upper velcro is very comfortable and allows a perfect closure at the top, the strap being long enough (this was a point that could be improved from the “BOA” model). I also highlight the good detail of using materials with different hardness depending on what part of the boot it is, such as more hardness in the toe and softer in the flex areas. The sole is wide and firm, providing excellent grip and precision. Another nice detail is that the area where the footpegs and rear brake rest are reinforced, favoring durability and greater grip. In any case, as usual with Hebo, the soles can be purchased independently as a spare. So, in conclusion, a very successful product in design and technology, with a logical price and more than enough features for any enthusiast. It should be remembered that there is a variant of these boots with a leather finish instead of microfiber.
