Jaime Busto finished the season in the Spanish Trial Championship with a second place that gave him the runner-up position in the premier class.
Valderrobres, Teruel, was the scene of the
last scoring event for the 2019 Spanish Trial Championship
. The fight for the runner-up spot in the premier class, TR1, was very tight with
Jaime Busto
only 5 points ahead of third-placed Adam Raga.
Moving on to competition, Jaime Busto was able to brilliantly manage a race in which there was a lot at stake. After taking a 30-point penalty on the first lap, one less than Raga, he made a sensational improvement on the second lap to distance himself from his pursuers and secure the second step on the podium, with which he also sealed the runner-up spot.
In this second step he added only 9 feet, finishing the trial with 39 to which finally 7 would have to be added for overtime, leaving his locker with 46. Busto was thus awarded a well-deserved runner-up finish with podiums, 6 out of a possible 7 and a masterful victory in Entrimo.
This week Jaime Busto will make his debut with Vertigo in the
2020 X-Trial World Championship
, specifically in the opening round held on the Island of Reunion (France).
