James Dabill wins the 2019 Scottish Six Days Trial. He does so by leading the race from start to finish and perfectly managing the pressure from the big favourite and his main rival, Dougie Lampkin, who finished just two points off his record.
In this way, Dabill gets rid of the thorn of the 2018 edition, where after leading a good part of the race, he lost all options for victory on the last day. For the British rider it is his third victory on Scottish soil.
The best Spaniard was Francesc Moret, ninth. In the women’s category, the victory went to Emma Bristow, classified in 29th position in the overall race calculation.
