her contract with Gas Gas Laia Sanz has decided to terminate the contract that has bound her to Gas Gas since January 2012. The brand regrets that for reasons beyond her control, Laia Sanz will not compete in the Trial World Championship, the Trial of Nations, the Enduro World Championship and the next Dakar despite having a contract in force until the 2014 season.
For this reason, Gas Gas will not have the presence of its rider in the opening round of the enduro world championship in the women’s category, which is held this weekend in Puerto Lumbreras, Murcia.
In just over a year, Laia Sanz has competed with Gas Gas in two Dakar Rally, has been trial world champion and has won her first enduro world championship, as well as recently winning the gold medal at the X Games in Brazil.
Gas Gas would like to thank Laia Sanz for her professionalism and dedication throughout this time and wishes her luck in the new stage she is undertaking, in the different motor specialties in which she will compete.
