Jeroni Fajardo, Jorge Casales and Miquel Gelabert join Toni Bou, Adam Raga, Jaime Busto, Benoit Bincaz and Gabriel Marcelli on Sunday, February 2 at the X-Trial in Barcelona, which will be held at the Palau Sant Jordi on Sunday, February 2.
JERONI FAJARDO
Jeroni Fajardo (Sherco) was the best Event Rider in the Hungarian capital as he qualified fourth after battling with Marcelli (Montesa) for third place which ended up being decided in a jump-off zone. This result gives the Sherco rider the ticket to Barcelona, where last year he was one of the most outstanding. Fajardo already has one podium this season, as he was third in Rennes.
JORGE CASALES
He will be joined by Jorge Casales (Gas Gas) and Miquel Gelabert (Vertigo). Casales has accumulated two fifth places in his two appearances this season in which, so far, he has taken part in the events of La Réunion and Budapest.
MIQUEL GELABERT
Miquel Gelabert who, like Jorge Casales, has changed brands to face the 2020 season of the FIM X-Trial World Championship, has achieved his best results this year in La Réunion and Rennes, races in which he contested the Final for third place. In the first he was beaten by Jaime Busto (Vertigo) and in Rennes he lost to Fajardo.
The three Spanish riders who are not part of the group of permanent participants will want to shine in front of their fans in the event that reaches its 43rd edition.
