On a technical level, the 2002 Cota 315R incorporated improvements to the clutch, which improves its performance in all types of conditions and also makes the discs last longer.
Also new to the 2002 Cota 315R is the new front brake caliper, now AJP four-piston.
The geometry of the chassis has also been slightly changed , in terms of the steering tube, so that driving is made easier when making very tight turns, giving greater stability to the front wheel, and thus giving it more grip.
