Presentation of the Montesa Cota 4RT 260 Repsol Replica 2020 coinciding with the Milan Motor Show (EICMA), along with the standard Montesa Cota 4RT 2020
and the Montesa 4Ride.
The Repsol Cota 4RT model maintains its 4T 260cc mechanics and new nuances that affect both its mechanics and aesthetics. In the new Montesa Repsol 2020, white now predominates, without forgetting the orange color wink of its main sponsor on the wheels and tank.
The Montesa Cota 4RT Repsol 2020 additionally incorporates global improvements in its mechanics. Most of the work has focused on reducing engine braking and finding a more progressive power and torque curve. In other words, a more linear response to facilitate piloting.
On the other hand, the Repsol version now mounts new lobed brake discs (with new disc protectors) to achieve greater bite and braking power in both trains.
The crankcase protection has also been improved in both versions thanks to a new rubber located between the skid plate and the crankcase itself, a solution based on the racing prototype. In the case of the Repsol Replica, it is also equipped with the stand that until now was only used in the most Racing version (the 300RR, now 301RR, more robust and integrated into the swingarm).
The bodywork also receives changes, with a more racing rear fender, flatter tank and new front optics. The graphs are also 2019.
