We already have the results of the contest “vote for the bike of the year 2012”, proposed by the Trialworld team with the aim that all fans would have the opportunity to evaluate each of the proposals offered by the Trial market.
It is the first independent ranking that attends, solely and exclusively, to the opinions of users and fans in an anonymous and impartial way. All results have been collected by e-mail and all those collected from December to the closing date of January 31, 2012 have been counted as valid.
To compile the ranking, readers had to order in order from most to least preferred the eight main brands offered in the market, scoring the preferred motorcycle with one point, two points for the second and so on consecutively up to the eighth; Those brands that only manufacture children’s models have not been counted.
VALID VOTING RESULTS
A total of 134 valid votes were counted, resulting in the following results:

ANALYSIS OF RESULTS
The Gas Gas TXT Pro is emerging as the most voted motorcycle among the participants, appearing in the first position in order of preference for 38 voters. After the Girona bike, we witnessed a beautiful duel between Beta and Sherco , who finished in second and third position, respectively, with a narrow margin of only 16 points. The Beta came first in order of preference for 29 voters, to Sherco’s 27.
In fourth place, further away from the leading trio, in no man’s land, voters have placed in fourth place a bike that has only accumulated a year of life behind it: the Ossa TR. In this case, the clover bike has been chosen as preferred by 13 voters.
Behind, another nice fight for fifth and sixth place, starring JTG and Montesa. Two very different models in concept and seniority, but they are not among the main brands that users take into account in their order of preference. The result was decided in favor of the JTG by a margin of only 5 points, with both being tied in terms of the number of times they have appeared as a
o Preferred by voters: 13.
Closing the ranking, already very distant from the rest of the models, we find Scorpa and Xispa, respectively, although with more than 110 points between them. On both occasions they have been voted once as preferred among voters.
The winner of the raffle, Albert Cintas, assigned by lottery after assigning a number to each email received, he has already confirmed the receipt of the email that he had to answer in less than 48 hours to qualify for the prize, so for Tarragona go the Trial pants and the exclusive Trialworld t-shirt.
