The Spanish brand has made a statement on its website stating that Musti will not continue with the Monty team during 2013. This leaves open the question of what brand will end up in what, today, is the present and future of world trial.
Statement from Monty
Bicicletas Monty and the Aragonese rider Abel Mustieles have decided, by mutual agreement, not to continue with the contract they had signed until the end of 2013. For this reason, Abel Mustieles will not be riding a Monty next season.
However, the possibility of future collaborations and Monty’s representation at AMG Bikes has been left open.
