Scorpa SY 250 Racing 2002 After the launch of the Scorpa SY Racing prototype in 2000, intense work has been carried out to improve and optimize the French bike.
The Scorpa is itself a high-quality bike, built with sophisticated and exclusive materials as the norm of the brand. In the 2002 version, lighter and stronger materials have been used.
Among the most important novelties is the new Paioli fork with oval section , made exclusively for Scorpa, and which greatly improves the performance of the bike, together with the Sachs monoshock without linkages located in an almost horizontal position.
The engine is still Yamaha, now with a new redesigned exhaust that especially improves torque in the low and mid ranges. The final silencer is also a novelty, being smaller than in the previous model, they also incorporate ceramic fiber inside, so their durability is guaranteed. The clutch response was softened.
Also new are the new 32-spoke rims, as well as hubs adapted to the new number of spokes and the hollow axle of the front wheel. There are also novelties in the brake calipers, with four pistons, as well as in the discs, making the operation of these elements more effective.
Aesthetically, the new blue colour of the tank makes it much more attractive and the aluminium piece that supports the seat tank assembly is now of a new design, more stylised.
