The City Council of Boñar and the trial motorcycle club of León sign an agreement by which the latter will have a space in the area known as La Loma for the creation of a permanent trial area for motorcycles and mountain bikes.
The agreement for the cession of use is for one year, according to the mayor of Boñar, Roberto Álvarez. “An agreement has been reached for one year to see this experience that, if it turns out well, can be extended over time,” according to Álvarez, who specified that it is one more way to promote Boñar and tourism since this sports space will allow the arrival of people who love trial.

In the Presentation of this new sports space Present were the president of the Léon Trial Motorcycle Club, Sergio Pérez, the European and Spanish Youth Trial Champion, Jaime Busto, the Spanish Junior 125 Champion, Adrian Villabille and the Spanish Classic Motorcycle Runner-Up, Isidro Chavarri. Sergio Perez said that from now on a calendar of activities will be carried out that allow this sports space to be enhanced. “Among the things we intend to do is to hold trial courses”. He also indicated that there will be activities related to mountain bikes since there are many people who practice this sport. The choice of Boñar to locate this sports area has been because for years it has been holding events of the Castilla y León championship in places of the municipality of Boñar and because in this town there is a hobby of both trial and mountain biking, according to the president of the trial motorcycle club of León. It will also be a good opportunity for Boñar to attract visitors to the area and promote its hospitality.
