Solid victory for Jaime Busto on the second day of the CET in Pobladura

After the first day of competition, where Miquel Gelabert achieved his second victory of the season, this time the tables have turned towards Jaime Busto, who also adds his second victory and consolidates himself as one of the contenders for the title of Spanish Champion.

On this second day of competition, the partials of the first day have been reduced as planned. Only a few areas were modified, but they did not manage to complicate the route. Busto was stronger than his rivals throughout the race and was the deserved winner.

Behind Jaime, Marcelli and Gelabert fought nicely until the last section, with the final advantage in favour of the Galician. Miquel closes a great weekend, although this third position prevents him from scoring valuable points for the championship.

Left out of the podium is Adam Raga, who loses practically all options to renew the title and does not end up finding the consistency that he does have in the world championship.

"Jaime Busto and Miquel Gelabert are the two big favourites for the title of 2021 Spanish Trial Champion, with only 40 points left to play."

Gabriel Marcelli, second place
Miquel Gelabert, third place
