The FIM has today announced the suspension of the European Championship in all its disciplines, including Trial. This is due to the crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and the aftermath for promoters, organisers and the international transit of riders.
This European calendar was scheduled to begin on April 12 and end on August 13, visiting France, Italy, Germany and the Czech Republic.
The 2020 trial season remains shrouded in great uncertainty. In addition to the announced cancellation of the European Trial Championship, the difficulties that the motorcycle clubs organising the Trial World Championship are encountering to comply with the requirements of the FIM for the four proposed GPs, which will be held over two days, implying an exponential increase in the planned expenses.
