We enter the month of February and with it begins the national Trial. Next Sunday, the 9th, Aitona (Lleida) will be the scene of the opening event of the 2020 season. Catalan fans will be able to see live the spectacularity of this discipline with the best riders in the world fighting to be on the top step of the podium.
The categories that will be in this race are TR1, TR2, TR3, TR4, Junior, Cadet, Cadet (Sup. to 125cc) and Female TR1. This year there are some changes in terms of the categories. Thus, Cadet Sup. to 125cc for all those who want to participate with motorcycles of more than this displacement that was allowed until now in “Cadete”.
Women will also see their categories expanded, their names and the doors they will have to go through. In 2020 there will be three for them: Women’s TR1, Women’s TR2 and Women’s TR3. Those who compete in the absolute category will do the “Green” zones, that is, the same as Junior and TR3, thus increasing the level trying to make them grow sportively.
Rocky and wooded areas
The Moto Club Aitona will be in charge of carrying out this race. According to the information provided, the areas that the riders will encounter will be rocky and wooded, always adapted to each of the categories. On Saturday, the qualifier will be held to determine the starting order and with easy access for the public. On Sunday, at 09:00h, the race will start with the first participant.
The Aitona Sports Zone will be the nerve centre of the event, where the paddock will be located and from where the show will start.
