A few weeks ago Vertigo and Dougie Lampkin scored what is their 5th victory in the prestigious Scottish Six Days of Trial (SSDT), the most extreme and demanding challenge in the world of trial.
This means that Vertigo’s particular hall of fame, located in the hall of its factory in Palau Solità i Plegamans, incorporated what is the 5th winning bike of the SSDT after those that triumphed in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018.
A PROTOTYPE IN 2015 WON THE SSDTS
The special bond between Vertigo and the SSDT began in 2015 with the first victory. In that edition, Vertigo emulated what Bultaco achieved 50 years ago, which was to debut in the event with a prototype, with a British driver (Sammy Miller did it with Bultaco, Dougie Lampkin with Vertigo) and be able to win it at the first attempt.
