The X-Trial of Andorra will close the season on October 8

The X-Trial World Championship will conclude on October 8 at the Poliesportiu d’Andorra with the X-Trial of Andorra la Vella in which the World Champion Toni Bou will close the season celebrating his 16th title of the speciality in an event in which the Repsol Honda Team Trial rider considers his home event, as he lives in Andorra and awaits the visit of family and friends to celebrate with them his 16th consecutive title, which further elevates his legend.

The cancellation of the event that was to be held in France on October 21st, announced by the FIM and ESDEUX, promoter of the Championship, has led to Andorra la Vella being the place where a party ends with the intention of starring in a great show and celebrating with his family the new world title that he has already achieved mathematically.

Bou will arrive in Andorra with 87 points, 30 more than his closest pursuer Adam Raga (TRRS) after having won the four rounds held so far in Nice, Chalon-sur-Saône, Madrid and Barcelona.

X-Trial 2022 standings with the Andorra race still to go

TONI BOU (2022 X-TRIAL WORLD CHAMPION): "I always say that when a race is cancelled it's a shame, and it's also like that now; I would have liked to have been able to complete the entire championship; During the winter we had done a great job with the team in the four races we contested before the start of the outdoor and we hoped to complete it with the two races that were missing. Now all that's left is to try to win in Andorra in front of my friends and celebrate the title in style."
