Toni Bou, 2014 Indoor Trial World Champion

Bou IndoorChampionBou has been proclaimed Indoor Trial World Champion for the eighth time in a row after winning with authority in Milan, the fourth of the five events that make up the indoor calendar in 2014.

This new world title, with which Bou now has a total of 15 between Indoor and Outdoor, comes after having exerted an impressive dominance that has resulted in victory in all the races of the current campaign.

His statistic in the X-Trial World Championship is devastating, with 40 victories, the last 25 consecutive, in the 60 races he has competed in since 2005. All this at 27 years of age and keeping intact his motivation to continue aspiring to more.

In Milan he was joined during the final by Albert Cabestany, Adam Raga and James Dabill. Toni Bou quickly stood out from all his rivals, finishing with only one point to his credit, 13 for Cabestany, 16 for Raga and 20 for Dabill.

Toni Bou: “For me, indoor trials are very special, I’ve said it before and winning the title in this modality is fantastic. It’s eight and I’m going to keep fighting to stay motivated. I don’t want to stop here. Today I felt very good from the first moment, I started very aggressive and I felt incredibly good on the bike. I’m very happy to have won this way. And now, with this championship already in our possession, it’s time to work for the outdoor world championship, we have a lot of work ahead of us but the results we get are the best stimulus to face it”.
