Toni Bou and Adam Raga share French GP victories

The 2020 Trial World Championship kicks off at the French ski resort Isola 2000, where controversy and equality have been the two main axes of the weekend.

Motorcycle Trial Offers
The FIM announced three major changes for this strange season, where Covid-19 has taken its toll sportingly, delaying and pushing the calendar to the maximum. The first, the trimming of fifteen sections to just ten, but to be covered in three laps instead of two. The second, which takes the time in zone five and zone ten, having a maximum of one hour to complete each of these sections. And finally, the elimination of qualify as a way to determine the order of output.

TONI BOU DOMINATES THE START OF THE WORLD CUP

With these circumstances, the race in Isola 2000 began, where the high altitude forced riders and machines to apply themselves to the maximum, since at this point the bikes lose power. Already in the race, the first lap had to be eliminated due to an organizational lack of control over time, leaving the second and third laps as valid.

DAY TWO: MANDA ADAM RAGA

On the second day of competition, Toni Bou suffered back problems and was unable to perform at his highest level: “It has been a very complicated day, continuing with the physical discomfort of yesterday and with a pain in my back that causes ramps in my right arm. We were unhappy for most of the day and it was quite tough.” The one who got the most out of this second day was Adam Raga, in a race from less to more that started with Jeroni Fajardo leading. Raga’s last partial, with only three points, confirmed the victory for the TRS rider. Second place went to Jaime Busto, one point ahead of Toni Bou.
