Toni Bou extends contract with Montesa until 2024

The Repsol Honda Team and Toni Bou have confirmed the extension of their relationship until at least the 2024 season.

Although Toni Bou still has a year left on his contract, the parties have not wanted to rush the renewal of the fruitful alliance that began in 2007. A time in which the rider from Piera has won a total of 28 world titles (14 outdoor and 14 indoor) with 118 outdoor and 67 indoor victories and 11 Spanish Champion titles.

TONI BOU: "I'm super happy with this news. I have Honda to thank for their trust in me. It's a great team and a fantastic alliance, with which we have achieved a lot of success and that, in difficult times like these, I am proud that they show their confidence in me. Renewing for three more years is a reward for my good career and also for the work we have done together during all these years. I hope to be able to stay here for many more years; It's my home, where I'm most comfortable and where I'd like to be so I never change."

Yoshishige Nomura (HRC PRESIDENT): "I am pleased that Toni Bou will continue to compete with the Repsol Honda Team next year and beyond. Winning 28 consecutive championships is an amazing achievement. He has had to battle injuries at times, but he has still won – a sign of his unmatched determination to win the title. Keeping his mental, skillful and physical condition at the highest level is also no easy task, and I would like to thank him with all my sincerity. HRC will continue to provide him with the best bike and equipment to help him keep winning."
