Torrot presented its first offroad electric trial bike for adults at the Milan Motor Show. The new Torrot TXE Contact with electric motor is an accessible alternative for all audiences, prioritising versatility and respect for the environment over sportiness.
As a result of the synergy that exists between the brands that make up the Torrot Group, Gas

and Torrot, the Girona-based brand has relied on Gas
Gas Contact
to conceive the new Torrot TXE. Consequently, we see a chassis practically identical to that of its sister, albeit dressed in Torrot’s corporate color, complemented by a 100% electric propulsion.
FIRM COMMITMENT TO ELECTRIC TRIAL MOTORCYCLES
The Torrot TXE Contact wasn’t the only off-road model with an electric motor that Torrot Group presented at the Milan Motor Show. Next to it we find the electric Gas Gas TXT EDG, which is basically conceived with the same philosophy as its sister: a cycle part of Gas Gas -in this case

In this way, Torrot Group is preparing its immersion in the electric propulsion trial for adults with two models, one with a more amateur and versatile cut under the Torrot brand, and another with a more sporty mood with the colors of Gas Gas. The Torrot T10 and Torrot T12 children’s trial models with electric motor remain in the catalogue
THIS IS THE NEW TORROT TXE ELECTRIC
With the aim of conveying the versatility and ease of use that emanates from Gas Gas’ Contact spirit, the new Torrot TXE Contact needed an electric powertrain with a performance in line with the demands of its demands.
Consequently, we are dealing with a 4KW – 10NM electric motor powered by a 1500 WH lithium battery that allows an autonomy of 90 minutes, reaches 100% of its charge in less than two hours.
The suspensions are entrusted on both trains to Ollé and it is shod with Pirelli tyres. As in the case of the Gas Gas, the Torrot comes equipped with an easily removable seat to provide greater comfort to the rider on long journeys.
The weight of the set is advertised at 72.5 kilos.
At the moment, the price and availability date of the electric Torrot TXE Contact have not been disclosed.
