This year will be the first in which 2 electric bikes will step on the Scottish Trial floors. The pilots who will embark on this adventure will be Matthew Alpe and Gaël Chatango.
The event, which takes place in the highlands and is centered around Fort William, is the ultimate test of man and machine with daily routes covering more than 100 kilometers of some of the most inhospitable and rugged terrain.
TWO YEARS WITHOUT THE SCOTTISH TRIAL
Following the cancellation of the 2020 and 2021 Scottish Six Days Trials, we can confirm that the 2022 event is underway and will take place from 2-7 May 2022 in Fort William. Applications opened at the end of October.
Preparations have already begun, and while some work has been completed for the 2020 event, a lot of work will be required to ensure that the six daily routes of hundreds of kilometres are in condition to carry out the event.
