Vertigo signs James Dabill and will make his Sheffield debut

Dabill VertigoFive-time British Trial Champion and one of the top 10 riders in the world, James Dabill, has announced that he will ride the Vertigo Combat for the next two seasons.

Vertigo is a new brand of Trial motorcycles that was presented less than a month ago at the EICMA Milan Motor Show with great expectation. The father of its development, the multi-champion Dougie Lampkin, was in charge of lifting the covers of the two models that Vertigo plans to put into production for 2015: Camo and Ice Hell.

Dabill has been a Vertigo rider since December 1st and is working towards the most awaited moment, which will be on January 3rd at the Sheffield Indoor Trial with the debut of Vertigo in competition. It will be the first day that we will also see Dabill at the controls of the Spanish bike, on which he will also participate in the world championship, both indoor and outdoor, the British and the six days of Scotland.

All this work will be used to improve the Vertigo for series production.

Lampkin:
“We are very happy to have James joining us in the team over the next year. I know Dabill well and I know he’s a high-level and talented rider. We’re going to give him all the support to get the results that both he and Vertigo are looking for.”

Dabill: “The first thing is to thank Beta for the great support they have given me these last four years. I’ve really enjoyed them out, but it’s the right time for a change. Having the opportunity to work with Dougie and the rest of the Vertigo team is an opportunity I wanted to have. It’s a great project and has given me the motivation I need to get fully involved. I am aware that there is a lot of work ahead, but the team is very experienced and will provide me with the necessary means to achieve the best results. I’m excited for my first performance with the Vertigo in Sheffield.”
