Victory for Toni Bou at the Girona Indoor Trial

The XXIX edition of the Trial Indoor Ciutat de Girona was held yesterday at the Girona Fontajau Pavilion with the undisputed victory of the world champion, Toni Bou, who has won for the eighth consecutive time in the Catalan city.
The large influx of public (almost 3,300 attendees), animated by the Fires de Sant Narcís de Girona, has enjoyed a great motor exhibition that this year, as a novelty, recovered the high jump as one of the most spectacular obstacles.
As happens every year in this classic event, the Girona team was able to enjoy the 20-time world champion Toni Bou, and big names such as Albert Cabestany, Jeroni Fajardo, Adam Raga, Jorge Casales and Jaime Busto.
The first semi-final, between Jaime Busto and Albert Cabestany, ended with the victory of the Catalan rider with a 10-point difference that has qualified him for the final. Jorge Casales and Adam Raga starred in the second duel, although they did not manage to qualify. The last pair, Toni Bou and the local Jeroni Fajardo have embroidered the semi-final with 1 and 10 points, respectively, and have advanced to the final round.

Already in the final and surrounded by the public, the world champion Toni Bou clearly imposed himself on his rivals, thus claiming the eighth consecutive victory in this event.
Toni Bou: “It went perfectly, I’m very happy and the audience helped me to put on a good show. It was hard for me to win here in Girona and now I’m on a very good run, I love racing here.”
