Video BETA EVO MY 2023

We can already see the EVO 2023 Beta in action. Beta Motor has recorded some action shots with its official driver, Matteo Grattarola, in an idyllic setting in Italy, near the Beta factory in Florence.

The new Beta EVO 2023 is available on the Trialworld Store from this September in 2-stroke and 4-stroke displacements. Below you will find a photo gallery of the new EVO 2023 and the details of the new features in the new range, which include aesthetic and mechanical aspects.

What's New in EVO 2023

EVO 2023 BETA CYCLE PART

– Radiator grille. Completely redesigned. In addition to optimising the airflow to the radiator, it has a larger protective surface area in the area of the cap and the radiator body, preventing these components from being damaged in the event of impact with branches, stones or falls.

– Tank cover. Newly designed. The shape is much more enveloping in the chassis and allows all cable passages to be covered, giving a clean and uncluttered look to the bike. This new shape includes a button to change maps. The EVO features two engine maps that can be selected from the handy button on the fuel cap. A position that is easy to access and at the same time protected from accidental shocks. In addition, thanks to the presence of an LED indicator, the selected map can be identified immediately.

– MY 23 graphics. The look and performance go hand in hand with the new EVO update. Geometric graphics and a new anodized aluminum swingarm give it a sleek, natural look that evokes racing. The chassis is painted in typical Beta red to highlight the beauty of the hydroformed aluminum frame, a hallmark of the EVO. The filter box is black again, but its operation does not change, as does the TwinAir foam filter. The fork sleeves are now Beta’s signature red color.

– Domino Fists. The new Beta custom Domino grips ensure comfort and grip, so you never lose contact with the handlebars. The black levers highlight its sophisticated look.

– New shock absorber settings. Betamotor’s technicians have updated the set-up, based on their experience, in terms of progression, response and absorption. As far as the fork is concerned, they have revised the settings and the amount of oil on the two arms to increase the progressivity of the response on the most extreme descents. In fact, the EVO fork is said to be “asymmetrical” because the two arms have different functions and internal volumes. On the left side, the spring can be adjusted, changing the geometry, while on the right, the hydraulics can be adjusted to manage the damping and responsiveness of the front axle. By differentiating and optimising the volume of oil between the two arms, it has been possible to improve the progression and, therefore, the precision with which the bike transmits the sensations to the rider. On the single-sided fork, Beta has adjusted the set-up to increase its responsiveness in the extension phase and improve the bike’s responsiveness. Thus, the EVO increases the feeling of lightness that the rider perceives, especially when using the “bounce” to position himself between obstacles.

–Tyres. Professional riders choose Michelin Trial Light for the front and Michelin Trial X-Light Competition for the rear. And, with the MY23, all EVO owners will do the same, who will appreciate the great grip of this very light tire, which combines perfectly with the precision and handling typical of Betamotor motorcycles.

2023 BETA EVO MECHANICS (2-STROKE)

– The crankshaft and connecting rod. The wheelbase has been reduced by 1.5 mm and is now 114.5 mm. These new components offer multiple advantages both in terms of performance, which translates into a more rounded delivery, and in the dynamic aspects of the vehicle. As it weighs less and the alternating masses have been reduced, the bike is more manoeuvrable. The bike’s handling has been improved and vibrations have been reduced.

–Cylinder. Brand-new. For this component, the stages have been revised, favouring torque at low revs, and the overall weight has been reduced.

–Butt. The new combustion chamber improves low-rev delivery by making it more progressive and manageable, while maintaining engine performance at medium-high revs.

– Engine map. To fine-tune the new components and take advantage of their power and manageability, the engine map has been optimised; Above all, the progress map.

– Exhaust manifold. To prevent burns and protect the manifold from possible shocks, a protector has been installed that, in addition to being functional, completes the look of the motorcycle. (Also mounted on the 125 2T).
