What’s new in Gas Gas TXT Pro 2003

txtpro03second edition of the TXT Pro saga, released in 2003, received important changes to correct the problems and shortcomings of the Gas Gas TXT Pro 2002.

The first of the novelties was aimed at smoothing the response of its mechanics and optimizing the performance of the clutch through the incorporation of a new cover. The exhaust muffler also received improvements.

On the other hand, the Gas Gas TXT Pro 2003 received a new filter box, forming a piece with the seat and improving its tightness. Finally, modifications were made to the frame geometries and other changes that we break down below.

New Gas Gas TXT Pro 2003 range:

– Chassis with different geometry according to the improvements provided by the official racing team after the 2002 season

– New filter box. The one that until now was equipped with the 249 and 280 cc engines is now adopted by the new 125, 200 and 321

– New intermediate exhaust with internal ducts that improve torque at low revs

– New cylinder head that softens the power much more

– New crankcase, with more oil capacity

– New clutch, with more oil fluid. The clutch cover has also been modified, reinforcing it with an oil rerouting for cooling

– New clutch discs

– New Dell’Orto carburetor for the 280 engine

– New fan

– New 2003 livery for all models in the range.

– New ignition cover, with an innovative anchor

– Lubrication of the crankshaft bearing

– New fuel tank with a capacity of three litres

– New crown guard
